Thai court slaps 35.2m baht fine on pyramid scheme defendants
They surely don't deserve annual 1,935.4% on their investments either....and this whole case doesn't make much sense, there are B52.8 million and B35.2 million fines, but there were 88 victims with only B7,012,150 in damages, which the defendants are ordered to pay back. So who is getting the B88 million in fines?!?! Let me guess, the Joe Ferrari's of the DSI? -

I recommend Pickfords becoz they delivered from Bristol UK to Darwin AU, where it changed companies to Grace removals, I offered the driver a tip as he placed the heavy boxes where I wanted them, he refused the tip saying no thanks that's my job. When I was a young kid we would go on holiday in the UK, normally to a B & B Mum, Dad, and us three kids, my dad never drove a car so it was by coach or train, he would pack a big trunk, and send it on to the B & B, it always arrived. Similar to this but it was dark blue. -

Not code, at all, compensation was clearly mentioned... "the airline is working closely with the landowner to ensure proper compensation". "...the 'airline' ..." Why the inverted commas?... the owner of the plane is an airline. Compensation for what, exactly? Damage to some mud and mangroves? That would be covered by the aircraft owners public liability insurance. Compensation for bad juju caused by deaths on the site is what I'm talking about. But this is hardly Santika pub territory, ie prime plot of land that post-fire no-one would touch for development for years. The single quotation marks for 'airline' are to make clear that article describes the outfit as an 'airline' (ie quoting from the article) although it sadly now only has one other aircraft, another single-engine turboprop Caravan. Thus I choose not to describe it as an airline, since most people would, I suspect, consider an 'airline' to have more than one aircraft, regardless of the operation having an AOC. Not dissimilar to using quotation marks in a context such as "responding to AseanNow's 'favourite pedant' ..." -

Regardless of Musk’s motivations, the political impact of his actions in Brazil has been immediate and explosive: Those worried about the “tyranny” of the judges (i.e., the Bolsonaro side), greeted his move as if he was saving the country from oppression. Those on the opposite aisle (i.e., the government) see an unacceptable attack on Brazil’s sovereignty and proof that social media needs to be heavily regulated. And one immediate upshot is that attempts to build a modern legal framework for tech platforms will continue to be postponed in a congress that now has another reason to disagree over a fiendishly complex topic. That’s why Musk was wrong to pick this fight: speaking lightly about a country he knows only superficially and attacking a judge whose surname he can’t even pronounce properly have all been a disservice to Brazil that will only amplify polarization and political discord. If Brazil is not for beginners, Brazilian politics is only for the truly gifted. Soooooo, for about the price of a beer from 7 11 you'll use a taxi instead. I'd prefer the reason to be because the songtheaw drivers are rude, pack too many people into their vehicles, won't take you to the actual hotel ( leave you on the main road near the hotel ), take too long etc, but that's just me. I think the price was 100 baht about 5 years ago, but that could be just my bad memory. In the good old days it was 20 baht from bus station to the hotel.
