Heavy rain forecast for 51 Thai provinces, Bangkok on high alert
Today’s weather forecast warns of heavy rain across 51 provinces in Thailand, with Bangkok expected to be significantly affected. Citizens are advised to be cautious of potential flash floods and forest runoff. The Meteorological Department of Thailand’s (TMD) 24-hour weather forecast for today, September 16, predicts heavy rain in certain areas, particularly in the northeast, east, and western parts of the south. This heavy rainfall, combined with accumulated precipitation, may result in flash floods and forest runoff, especially in hilly areas, near waterways, and low-lying regions. The forecast attributes the severe weather to a monsoon trough moving across the northern and northeastern regions, merging with a low-pressure area over the central coast of Vietnam. This situation is exacerbated by a strong southwest monsoon covering the Andaman Sea, Thailand, and the Gulf of Thailand. In the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf of Thailand, waves are expected to reach heights of 2 to 3 metres, with thunderstorms bringing waves over 3 metres. The lower Gulf of Thailand will see waves around 2 metres, rising above this level during thunderstorms. Sailors in these areas are urged to navigate with caution and avoid sailing in stormy weather. Small boats in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf of Thailand should remain ashore during this period. In the northern region, thunderstorms are expected in 60% of the area, with heavy rain in provinces such as Phayao, Nan, Phrae, Uttaradit, Sukhothai, Phichit, Phitsanulok, and Phetchabun. Temperatures will range from 23 to 26 degrees Celsius (°C) at the lowest to 32 to 36 °C at the highest, with variable winds at 10 to 15 kilometres per hour (km/h). Temperatures will be between 23 to 25 °C at the lowest and 30 to 34 °C at the highest, with variable winds at 10 to 20 km/h. The temperature will range from 24 to 26 °C at the lowest to 34 to 36 °C at the highest, with a southwest wind at 10 to 25 km/h. In the eastern region, thunderstorms are forecasted in 70% of the area, with very heavy rain in provinces such as Nakhon Nayok, Prachinburi, Sa Kaeo, Chachoengsao, Chon Buri, Rayong, Chanthaburi, and Trat. Temperatures will vary between 23 to 26 °C at the lowest and 30 to 33 °C at the highest. The southwest wind will blow at 20 to 40 km/h, with sea waves reaching 2 to 3 metres and over 3 metres in thunderstorm areas. In the southern region (east coast), thunderstorms are expected in 70% of the area, with heavy rain in provinces like Chumphon, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Songkhla, and Yala. Temperatures will range from 23 to 25 °C at the lowest to 32 to 35 °C at the highest, with a southwest wind at 20 to 35 km/h. Where to sell a silver bar
I bought it largely for investment in January of '16 after it crashed, and it's up about 77% while gold is up about 100% since then, so neither are that great. I have two 100 oz bars and 11 ten oz bars. I had twenty of the 10oz bars but had some framed and gave them out as gifts. They look pretty cool. But yeah, not enough value to get too worked up about. -

BREAKING NEWS Second Assassination Attempt-Secret Service get Trump to safety
Well clearly Im more of an expert than you. By the way, what is "administrative criminal law"? Attempted murder is defined in criminal law. You obviously just cut and paste from somewhere. Your ignorance is showing, but since you arent an American, its OK. -

Pocket money for my son
having him do some odd jobs makes him learn life isn't free, it teaches him that he has to do jobs to get pocket money. But I think 2000 is enough. When I say odd jobs, I mean like clean the balcony, cut the grass if any, tidy up the garage..... simple jobs. and he'll respect you for it, if you give him 1000, he'll laugh. -

I speak some Thai and some of my "dates" speak a little English but hardly enough to communicate about topics of racial preference. Are you freakin' joking. Come on man. What conversation we have is more akin to "Have you eaten yet" How's your family. Where are you from etc... You actually think I am compelled to have conversations with my dates about race and prejudice. I myself am not prejudice and as I said have had many good friends and co-workers of all races and creeds that are fine and upstanding people. -

Australian Aged Pension
A few points: Yes, after your OAP is approved you can do short several trips out and return to Australia (short trips is not well defined, as an example say 3 weeks) during the next 2 years: - If you do a 'short trip' out your OAP payments are suspended (Centrelink has a 24/7 live link to immigration records (passport records) and if you depart and return Centrelink knows instantly and instantly stops / reinstates any payments. - The 2 years is calculated from the date you arrived back in Oz (after a long absence), It's NOT calculated from the date your OAP application was lodged or approved. - Short periods out of Oz do NOT impact the accumulation of the 2 years, even if you do several short trips out; the accumulation continues unaffected by any short trips out. In Other words the accumulation of the 2 years continues uninterrupted by any short trips out. I returned after a long absence, I applied for the OAP and it was approved. I called the older Australian line several times (132300) and asked about the bullet points. During each call I asked a 'new' question and looked for confirmation of the previous answers to other points. All confirmed. In reality these bullet points are a direct result of my calls to 132300. Then COVID- 19 happened and I stayed put in Oz. All of the above has been previously shared on this site by many Australians. -

BREAKING NEWS Second Assassination Attempt-Secret Service get Trump to safety
Oh, boo hoo. Somebody stole your signs? You were taunted for wearing your hat? Don’t be a crybaby. A person who supports Trump openly favors strongman rule, which is an assault on everything the US stands for, and openly favors the roundup of (20 million?) people who aren’t white and their imprisonment in “camps,” which is barbaric. And much else besides. This is how he says he will govern; there are no secrets. So, I’m sorry, I’m sure that most Trump supporters are good people who have simply been led down an errant path, but I have no sympathy if you’re going to sob about your hat. -

Body of Foreign-Looking Man Found in Grassland Near Motorway
UPDATE Brutal Murder of Myanmar Man: Body Dumped Alongside Motorway Police now believe that the body of is a young Myanmar man. He was found brutally murdered and abandoned in an overgrown area near the motorway in Chachoengsao. The victim, estimated to be between 30 and 35 years old, had been severely beaten, with a slashed throat and multiple stab wounds on his face. The body was found near kilometre marker 44 of the motorway heading towards Chonburi, in a secluded area overgrown with grass near a construction site. The victim was wearing a black and white t-shirt, gray pants, and blue flip-flops, with a gray waist bag containing four Myanmar banknotes. According to the medical examination, the man had a 20 cm long slash wound across his neck, stab wounds on both cheeks, a 4 cm cut on his right eyebrow, and a crushed skull. The man had been dead for at least three days, and no identification documents were found on him. The grisly discovery was made by Mr. Prachum Pengsuwan, a 77-year-old local resident, who stumbled upon the body while fishing in a nearby canal. "I smelled something foul and followed the scent until I found the body. From his appearance, it was clear he wasn’t from around here," Mr. Prachum said. Police believe the victim could have been a migrant worker, possibly from one of the nearby construction camps or factories. They are investigating whether the murder occurred at the scene or if the body had been dumped there after the killing. One theory is that the victim may have been involved in a dispute, which escalated to murder. Authorities are currently examining nearby CCTV footage and checking local workplaces for any missing persons to help solve the case. -- 2024-09-16 -

Where to sell a silver bar
Never heard the saying that silver is the poor mans gold? Silver is used in industry far more than gold. I had 100kg pool allocated in Oz. most of purchases doubled in price. I am happy with 100% ROI. Some people just not happy.
