Has the watchman got the time to do the job?

Roosevelt managed from a wheelchair so I guess the Brown Bladder can hack it with his Zimmer frame.

Please bring back Prayuth. And now get rid of the changes at immigration and taxes.

  • Karma as he stuck the knife into MFP.

  • Who's next then?   I've heard Prayut is waiting in the wings (again)... Or will it be Tony's daughter? Chuwit? Lord Watches? Liz Truss?? Boris Johnson??? !!!

Well there's no doubt that he deserved to be dismissed, he was certainly the do-nothing PM. He talked a good talk, and he walked a good walk, but he accomplished nothing. It's likely that some of the power brokers here were disappointed that he wasn't able to get more done or that he wasn't able to unite Parliament behind him. Or that he simply looked so foolish, though that did not seem to bother them with Prayuth.

One never really knows what's going on here or who is making the decisions. The saddest part of this whole thing is the people that they're naming as potential substitutes to replace this fool, the last thing in the world this country needs is Anutin, Prawit or another Shinawatra.

I'll gladly welcome the stability we had with Prayuth, a status quo politician. No need to overhaul things the way Srettha has done and usher in chaos.

Well, he did spend one hell of a lot of Thai tax money on flying around the world on extended vacations business trips.

Srettha stands accused of breaching ethical guidelines by appointing a disbarred lawyer with a criminal record, a decision that has ignited fierce debate across the country.

Haha, and there I was thinking you had to have a criminal record to get into politics.

The dramatic decision has the nation on tenterhooks, awaiting further developments that could see the 62-year-old leader ousted from office, thereby plunging the kingdom into renewed political uncertainty.

Doesn't fit my definition of "Axed" .... maybe/hopefully gone soon though, Not a Srettha fan. 😁

Only worry is who we get next ... careful what you wish for, as they say :hit-the-fan:

You know it makes sense.

He was just a puppet for Thaksin who wanted his crooked lawyer in the cabinet. Big mistake.

Hope it gives a chance to move forward MP's.

Well the PM is out plus the whole cabinet as well. New PM has to win nomination and get enough votes to assume office first, and then the cabinet is picked after that, as far as I read it. It may all take quite some time but I hope they can find some good people. Thailand needs some solid guidance in these uncertain times.

At this moment in time he has been found 'in breach of ethics'......does that automatically translate into being 'axed'?

He must have the right to appeal.......doubt this is over yet.

There is no Right of Appeal against any Judgement by the Constitutional Court.

Kangaroo?

I think the ones behind ousting MFP and Srettha are expecting to be next up

So the largest party now is the People’s Party, so they will have first shot at forming a new coalition right?

With jet set Srettha out, I guess no Formula 1 in BKK... I was looking forward to the tuk tuk - taxi drivers blocking that for affecting their business.

So goodbye then Jet Srettha. Maybe Thailand will get a PM who does something other than photo opps and junkets.

Maybe...

Bye bye Srettha, welcome back Loong Too :welcomeani:

Nany people are nostalgic including yours truly.

And definitely, stricter visa rules are required!

Stop Visa Free Entry for Citizens of Russia, Kazakhsatan, China, etc.jpg

I'd like BJ and PITA forming a joint leadership

In some ways it is a shame, he made the taxis 'run on time' so to speak - after his PR opp Taxi drivers on lower Sukhumvit stop with the back door level to you, you get in, state your destination and the driver puts the meter on and drives.

When???????😱😱😱😱😱

I think that shows us clearly that there are forces out there who don't support the criminal and his puppet show.

Good!

no  the collision government has not be dismissed

I just hope that all the nasties above who can say nothing good about a man who - against all the odds - manifestly did his best to bring the country forward after years of torture will be happy with whatever appalling alternative The System now comes up with.

Be careful what you wish for!

Lax visa rules only last few months 🤣

Popcorn for the new stricters rules they gonna implement.

This morning, the embattled PM visited a Buddhist temple and appeared unfazed by the looming judgement,

He has enough to retire on, that's why.

Because they are very popular in a poll, doesn't give you any rights. They need to setup a lot of administrative things before they would be able to contest in another election, whenever that will be.

Depending on who is crowned as new PM, life can become even more difficult for foreigners and expats in Thailand on immigration and other administrative issues. Quite a few Thai's in power are highly xenophobic and racist towards all foreigners no matter from where. Time to start looking for another more foreigner-friendly country in Asia.

Unlikely, the only one who would have made a difference just got a 10 year ban.,
