Thai Hotels Struggle as Mid-Priced Rooms Fail to Attract Tourists
Maybe offer what the tourists want at a fair price, then market it properly. Tourism is almost back to an all time high, if you're not getting occupancy look inwards. -

Trump Declines Further Debates with Harris as Election Nears
Because he knows he'd get creamed again. Another debate may be his best chance to win, but he knows he just can't compete with VP Harris in debates. I have mixed feelings about this. If there was another debate perhaps he might have a good night and have a typical more even performance. Given his greatly lowered expectations now, that could be spinned as a big win. On the other hand, it's quite likely he'll change his mind if he sees his polling drop dramatically. -

Trump Harris: Who won the debate ?
Interestingly, this morning Fox News is doing somersaults trying to normalize Trump's indefensible cat eating Haitian conspiracy theory. 'The Haitian rumor is only the latest example of the Trump campaign stoking racial divides'. 5 year multiple entry DTV visa (Destination Thailand) from 2024-xx-xx
Are you applying through Canberra Embassy or Sydney Consulate? (Sydney Consulate is only for people in NSW) When applying, did you have to provide Accomodation Name, Travel Booking Confirmation and Proof of Accommodation in Thailand as per Page 30 and Page 31 of: https://www.thaievisa.go.th/static/English-Manual.pdf I'm wondering what if people don't have their airline ticket booked or accommodation not booked yet, as it's best to wait for the visa to be issued first before booking these. -

Thailand's New PM Outlines Bold 10-Point Plan to Revamp Economy
On what day in 2024 was the Thavisin government placed into caretaker status that would trigger as per the Constitution a national election to determine the majority party in the House to nominate a PM? There was none. More than two-thirds of the public registered electorate was prevented from voting for a party that would nominate a non-PTP candidate. How? Coincidentally, immediately after MFP was banned as a representative of its electorate base in the House, PTP coalition gained majority in the House by default that led to Paetongtarn's selection. No Senate vote required. Paetongtarn like Thavisin was simply selected, albeit apparently somewhat sensitive that both PM's were not constitutionally "elected" by the Thai electorate as would be required in a democracy. From such chain of events, I can understand the desire to change the Constitution. -

Pattaya Steps Up Security at National Sports Centre with CCTV Plan
Having people monitor cctv feeds falls into the law of 'rapidly' diminishing returns. The person needs to be well trained and not have too many screens to watch or they will miss a lot. Distractions and the need to perform other tasks also diminishes their effectiveness. There are many very effective computer based analytics systems that can monitor effectively. So the choice is, Somchai the cheap local security guard or an expensive cctv analytics computer system.
