Entering Thailand with gold britanias

Featured Replies

I am currently planning on traveling to Thailand in early September and I don't use banks for my do use 1oz gold britanias as my main savings. I have searched many websites and am getting different answers from most. Some say if I carry any gold it can be confiscated and deportation. Others say I can declare on entry but most say it is prohibited. Can you please help. I al looking at traveling on the 4 of September. I do own invoices going back at least two years proving that the coins are leaugly bought from a company called solomin global. Do I need any further paperwork and if I can declare on entry do uoy know the tax charges involved. I am planning on traveling with 19 coins which total around £37,000 uk. Can you please help
