Thailand Visa Exemption (60 days) and Visa On Arrival (VOA) (15 days)
If he does not have a history of longer stays in Thailand in the recent past, and only does that schedule once per-year, then current reports indicate he would not be given problems upon-entry at the airport on his 2nd entry. One change I would make, is do the trip to Laos after the first 60-days, instead of getting an extension - then, do the extension on the 2nd entry, if additional time is needed. The reason is: There is some indication Immigration at "unfriendly" entry points (including both Bangkok airports) do not like seeing 30-day extensions on the last recent stay, when returning in close succession to the last departure.. -

Any advantages to retirement over marriage visa?
Over the last 4 years, I've witnessed several expats passing and leaving their spouses, girlfriends up <deleted> creek without a paddle due to using the monthly overseas transfers. Last one just a fortnight ago, leaving his wife to pick a substantial hospital bill, his cremation costs and deal with finance on a car. His account had just over 30,000 BHT in it, and she's now waiting to obtain a court order to release the funds, which will go towards paying off her debts she's now incurred to pay his bills. Add to that the loss of a monthly income. -

Abc’s Muir needs to make a public apology
"He does seem to be more Presidential this election cycle". In the debate you've seen how he handles being contradicted: not well. Doesn't bode well for acting presidential in talks with other country 's leaders. -

Trump Vows to Make Overtime Pay Tax-Free: ‘Finally Catch a Break’
I was making $40 an hour back in the '80s, non-exempt. (That means I was entitled to overtime pay) The big discussions in the breakroom were whether working the overtime would put us in a higher tax bracket and we'd end up with less in our paychecks. It never worked out that we'd make less for working those hours. But it was common to find out that I wasn't making time and a half ($60), it was more like $30 an hour after taxes. Which sucked. Not much incentive to work those extra hours if that's the case. Then I granulated and got a salaried job, not entitled to overtime. Then, I worked all those extra hours for free, in the vain hope that I'd get promoted faster. Sucked even more, because the good looking blonde guys got all the promotions, no matter how little extra time they put in. -

Kamala Harris' first solo interview!
Sad that you have to ignore so many people who are speaking the truth. It says something about you. You can only stand to read the minority of viewpoints of the people who agree with your apologist views of your man-god. -

"faux pas". You mean lie. Conscious, deliberate lie. Even now. Constantly and continuously. -

What a game tonight. I was hoping for Brisbane but I thought they were gone. GWS must be shattered. Two games in a row they have been pipped on the line after having winning margins. -

Revisiting History: The Unlikely Campaign to Vilify Winston Churchill
Exactly. While engaged with Germany, Italy and Japan, the British Empire actually peaked in terms of military power and capability. The final all-in cost of WW2 resulted in its eventual decline, however. -

Trump: “There Will Be No Third Debate!”
No. Her own words, she did not say "state" she did not say "response", she literally said: "Donald Trump left us the worst public health epidemic in a century." https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/harris-trump-presidential-debate-transcript/story?id=113560542 Trump left her the pandemic. She's lying. -

Revisiting History: The Unlikely Campaign to Vilify Winston Churchill
This kind of language, almost letter for letter, is often regurgitated by Nazi sympathizers - the pretense of having done serious research, the admission that many Jews died, the refusal to accept respected historians' findings, the pious exclamation that history will judge. These fascist tropes, adapted for the 21st century are well known.Don't accept this junk.- 1
