I am planning on going to Pattaya in 2025 with my Filipino wife. I haven't been since 2013. From 2006-2013 , I had some live-ins/friends that would recognize me now. We were in our mid 20's then and had a lot of fun.

 

If I'm walking down the street in Pattaya with my wife , I'd prefer that I don't run into random women on the street that would say hi as if we knew each other. 

 

Has this happened to others ? 

 

It happened in the past. I was 22 when i first went in 2006. And 6 years later , i ran into some friends from that time in Pattaya in 2012. That was different though. Bc i wasn't traveling as a married man. I guess i can just pretend that i don't know them. Or maybe they will understand that it wouldn't be appropriate unless i was by myself.

Did you tell your wife she was the first woman you ever were involved with?  Why pretend you don'y know them, that only indicates guilt.  A non-issue if ever there was one.

No. But i am not the type that introduces my current partner with all my X's as if we are one big family. Some people do that of course. I am more introverted than that first of all , and I think it's weird. 

I wouldn't worry about it, she's a Filipina, it's unlikely what she's told you of her friends is the gospel truth.

I met her in Canada. She's a citizen. I am not worried about her reaction. She'd give me a dirty look and we'd move on.

Highly unlikely to occur.....

Speaking for me, my Filipina X's are in different countries & the Thai X's are at least 25k away from me (if here), or in the US = where I first hooked up with Thai woman....

I have had some x-massueses Wai me in passing while in shopping plazas & my wife didn't really react....

I'd be happy if it was at her viewing.

If it happens, just tell your Filipina wife that they used to be nuns at the church you attended previously in Pattaya.

Not only will they recognize you, they'll remember your name too.

Plenty of other places to go to in Thailand than Pattaya if youre worried, believe me you wont get noticed by anyone anyway.

She has no saintly impression. But I'd still rather no have hookers saying hi to me 

 

 

I have been married to my Thai wife for 32 years now.   Before we met, she was married, I think, 3 times.   One marriage was a marriage of convenience .  I can't remember if it was for her or him.  They divorced when what ever they were married for was over.   One guy she was married to began hitting her.   Rather than kill him, she divorced and left him.   A wise choice I think.   

 

Wife told me she ran into the guy that had began hitting her.   She said he turned and ran when he recognized her.   I met the guy that she married for convenience.   Seems like a nice guy.   

 

Back on topic, sort of .. Wife and I were in San Francisco. I had stopped at an intersection for a red light.   My ex wife named Sudura (I managed to get the marriage annulled) walked across the street right in front of us.   I blurted out, that's Sudura.  I stared at her as she crossed the street and stepped up on the curb then street and the light turned green.  I pulled over on the other side of the intersection and my wife asked, do you want to go talk to her.   I watched Sudura in the crowd and thought for a second then said no and drove away.   

 

Wife had no problem with it.   I have no problem with her seeing her ex's either.

does not give dirty looks.   Or talk disrespectfully to me ... or anyone for that matter .

 

I would suggest you might consider that when choosing a partner... but , too late i guess

Pinay are well known to be super jealous if in relations with a foreigner. He should be more worried stepping off alone without his wife at his side. Any Pattaya girl would not acknowledge you unless you were just with them for sex or playing with them in a bar. Given the shear number of foreigners they see and are with. The OP seems to think hsi time with a woman there was so remarkable that she would remember him after many years and many customers. This makes me think he is more worried about being called out to by a short time girl he recently had while cheating on his wife.

Haha nope. As I said , 1 did recognize me from a 5 year gap. And we knkw the have notoriously good memories

Your marriage already has issues if you can't tell your wife that yes, you slept with these women before you met her.

I don't understand what the issue is, and on the contrary, if that caused a real issue with my wife, I'd take that as an indicator I married a psychopath.

I agree with you on this.  My current partner knows my past life and has accepted that. 

 

I keep no secrets from her and expect the same in return.  It works. 

 

Couldn't do that with previous Filipina wife... too much jealousy

I find it a beta move for men to openly talk to their partners about past relationships. 

 

Anyone who can't see that x prostitutes are best avoided around their wives has some issues.

I was thinking more about your wife, than your needs, but what do I really know! 

 

If I was married to a Pinoy, Pattaya would not had been the first place I thought of, especially if I had history there. GoKart? Really?
