Yeah, you should know, as the keeper of the gold medal in stupidity.

So, MalcolmB does not think it´s stupid to drive faster than the conditions allow without a helmet. Good on you!

I thought you claimed to know the man who passed away was drunk.

Now you are changing your story as usual. Third time now.

Never claimed to know the man. What I made was an assumption based on general facts regarding accidents in Thailand at such hours. However, that was apparently not correct, and yes, I changed it to being seriously stupid to not drive in a speed the conditions allow at the same time as not wearing a helmet, but you continue to disagree. Still a very stupid man, as it ended with a result based on stupidity. Whether you are drunk, on drugs, driving too fast, not wearing a helmet or making other life threatening choices you are a complete fool!

Hi MalcomB,

Thank you for your message. His name was Jonathan Z., from Australia and 37 years old. Unfortunately he was not wearing a helmet. He was on his way to the beach for the sunrise as a part of his morning routine.

He's French.  From France, not Australia.

It's harsh to say but riding a motorcycle for anything than to sort errands near home will bring injury and or death. I have very little sympathy. Three decades here and I do not ride motorcycles.

Thailand really, really, really should halt renting to tourists. Absolutely guarantee he had no Thai license or motorcycle permit from home. It's also conceivable he had no driving license at all

Thanks for the clarification, when I meet him he was coming from Australia so I assumed he was from there.
