You want the snake to unwind. That takes a brain and not a reflex.

Sure if the brain is cooperative which I believe this one is not even if you want it to be. So better shop it of or is there some reflex making continuing squezing if the head is shoped of?

When they consider themselves to be in danger, they will stop their attack (unwind) and attempt escape. They don't continue trying to kill prey.

Alone and in pain, she began shouting for help. Fearing for her life, she believed she wouldn’t survive the ordeal, thinking she would become the snake's next meal.

Maybe. They are the same family of constrictors. She was able to get help. If it is just you and the snake, sure give it a go. It may release if getting enough pain and prefer to leave. Slashing and stabbing, pretty easy to injure yourself too.

Good point.  He was alone in the wilderness when he was attacked by the anaconda,  no way to get help.

I see, that is valuable information. Thanks!

Sorry for the cobra and other snake lovers, but snakes are a serious threat to public safety all over Thailand, including the cities like Bangkok. We recall previous incidents of the snakes attacking out from toilets, then the case of the lady bitten in the Cinema and now this issue. The authorities need to put aside their beliefs and start to exterminate or displace these animals that are a daily threat to humain life.
