Could do with some support and advice here ?
Its a pretty common issue with Thai women or Thais in general, in my opinion. I've seen this a lot over the decades of being here. They have difficulty maintaining emotions in any disagreement and can often over compensate for little issues. I think its part of their cultural upbring in that they must hold their emotions in and not air them. Then when things get disturbed they don't have the emotion control once things are going even a little uneasy and tend to blow little issues up to be more than they are. I think they have a problem with spatial thinking and it shows in various situations. -

Certificate of Residency in Chiang Mai
Hi Thanks. Alright, I will not request another COR then and will try to use the one that will hopefully soon arrive in order to transfer the bike as well. Yes, all threads and websites on the CM immigration mention 500 baht for one-day service, but I asked and was told there is no such thing -

Could do with some support and advice here ?
At 53 I had hardly begun my relationship with Thailand, its people........specific individuals. It seems an age ago now. Don't waste any more time where you are now.........Thailand is the easiest place in the world to "move on". -

Fascinating US map that tells quite a story
Here's a fascinating (to me, anyway) map of US counties and which ones are gaining population and which are losing population, basically since Covid. Especially interesting to me when I laid it over a map of Red and Blue areas in my home state of Texas. Looks like people are (generally) leaving the Blue areas. I wonder why? I'm also interested in what people see in their home state... Click on the sfchronicle link to get details on every county... The image is just a .JPG. The good stuff is in the linked article, which also 'splains where the data comes from https://www.sfchronicle.com/projects/2024/bay-area-migration-trends-map/ https://maxyqconcordia.pages.dev/fyshudr-texas-congressional-elections-2024-lmoxcvj/ -

Rapid Greening of Antarctica: Scientists Alarmed by Climate Change Impact
As per Sir Isaac Newton, the human race will go the way of the dinosaur by 2050. I believe him. Have a horse and cart in every driveway and the Earth will thank you and the muslims can go back to where they came from.- 1

Chiang Mai on High Alert as Ping River Surges Beyond 5.25 Metres
Yes it is, but it would be better to go via the 108 if at all possible. The 1141 is not a good option. That can mean substantial re-routing and additional travel time. -
