Kuwait Airways seems to have the cheapest flights from BKK to NY... can anyone comment on this airline? i usually take china airlines and am suspicious of anything else.

I flew with them from london -Bkk about two years ago, not bad at all really, although the 7 hour stop over at kuwait airport was miserable to say the least!

I would think that the trip to NY would be via Kuwait - not the best option and thats why its cheaper

yeah it does stop in kuwait but only for a couple of hours... is it that bad?

Geographically you will be flying out of BKK in the opposite direction to where your destination is, couple that with the number of hours you stop over in Kuwait, then work it out for yourself whether the cheaper ticket is worth the hassle

well flight time is the same as any other airline so i'm not worried about that, just wondering if the seats are comfortable, food is good etc.

Those are local dep and arrival times, you need to add/subtract the time differences at the locations to get the actual flight times.

BKK - KWI approx 7.5 hours.

KWI - JFK approx 14 hours.

BTW: BKK - JFK approx 18-19 hours flight time if going east.

BKK - EWR with Eva air via TPE is about 45000 baht inc taxes (www.evaair.com) and flight time comes to 21 hours 35 minutes.

Dont forget to add the stop over time in Kuwait. Onb both legs and the hours clock up

it is a direct flight to jordan, then another direct flight to JFK,

now book earlier and you will not have to pay for business class. bkk-amm are usually full, and they have 5 flights a week i guess b
