stratocaster Posted October 8, 2024 Posted October 8, 2024 In a nutshell, land owner sells property to Government for a price. Government issues 99 year lease to buyer for a price. After 99 years property reverts back to Government. So property never leaves Thai ownership, which as we all know is the most important thing.

It would certainly make the leaseholder think carefully about their returns......which would benefit the government also re: tax take.
