Police Uncover Drugs in Bag Marked 'Definitely Not a Bag Full of Drugs'

In a bizarre twist, police officers in Portland, Oregon, made an unusual discovery when they found drugs inside a bag boldly labeled "definitely not a bag full of drugs." The stash came to light during a traffic stop involving an allegedly stolen vehicle. Officers pulled over the driver and passenger, only to uncover a variety of incriminating items inside the car.

Among the recovered items were scales, cash, a loaded firearm, and the now-infamous small brown make-up bag, humorously labeled to suggest it contained anything but drugs. However, despite the bag’s cheeky claim, it held over 10 grams of fentanyl and methamphetamine, according to reports from local authorities.

The Portland Police Bureau shared details of the incident on social media, posting on X about the unlikely find. Alongside the post was a picture of the confiscated items, including the bag in question.

The two individuals involved—a man and a woman—were promptly arrested. They now face charges of drug possession and possession of a stolen vehicle. Local media outlets have reported on the incident, which has captured public attention due to the irony of the bag’s label.

While it remains unclear whether the bag’s wording was intended as a joke or an attempt to mislead, the outcome was far from amusing for the suspects.
