I flew on the first direct flight from North America to BKK from Vancouver on Air Canada on December 1st a couple of years ago...

 

Mr Google says this is a "seasonal" flight (when the maple syrup starts to flow...?  Snowbirds fly south?) starting December 1st.

 

However...

 

Air Canada website allowed me to book a business trip from BKK on 22 November 2024 to YVR duration 13:20 and returning on 29 November 2024 duration 16:30 (headwind, so it takes longer?).

 

Will AC come back and cancel my reservation later after it realizes flights don't start until 1December?

 

Or have I stumbled onto a "soft opening" where AC is doing some practice runs with new pilots or something like that?
