A familiar tune been played for a couple of years so far.

One wonders if it will ever be true.

If Russia is worried, Iran will be worried to. Nothing increase oil prices like a regional conflict. Even if  the Gulf is disrupted, oil will still be able to move. Iran will send its oil through Turkey.  Qatari, Chinese and Indian operated oil tankers will move unharmed.

An oil price collapse will be great for the global south, especially China. Not so much for Europe though. But hey, giving Germany’s highest honour to the guy that caused its industrial downfall must surely rank as Germany’s second finest moment.
