Beat me to it. The actual voters in 2016 rejected Trump for president. They didn't want him. No way, no how. The Electoral College thought otherwise and awarded him the presidency, going against what the actual voters wanted. The actual voters wisely chose Clinton by 2.8 million votes but were ignored. 2020 election. After the worst presidency in history, Trump is once again rejected by the actual voters--this time by 7 million votes. Actual American voters are smart enough not to want Trump--and have loudly said so twice at the ballot box. 2024 election. Likely the actual voters will once again prefer the Democrat candidate to Trump. Once again, the actual voters will likely be smart enough to know what's best for the country--as they also did in 2000 when the actual voters wanted Gore, but the EC appointed the Cheneybush disaster. My fear for 2024 is a repeat of 2016. 63% of Americans prefer to get rid of the cursed Electoral College. But, as with too many presidential elections, their preference is ignored. -

Australia the same - I get an annual statement and advice that I do not need to lodge a tax return because I am below the tax free threshold. However, I do on on-line for both myself and the Wife, so that I have an Annual Tax Return Statement that can be used for whatever purposes here in Thailand - they just love their paperwork here. -

BBC Viewers Outraged Over Decision to Cancel HARDtalk: A ‘Grave Mistake’
I'm a yank, and love Hard Talk on BBC news. Unlike so many interview programs, Steve doesn't pitch softball questions; he's done research to back up his "hard" questions; and he doesn't let interviewee scoot out with non answers on some other subject. First BBC canned Dateline London, which got together each weekend with various journalists who cover various hot spots and are most often from those places. It was probably the one of the cheapest yet brilliant news shows they had. And it's gone, hole being filled by BBC staff. Hard Talk must have been the cheapest real in depth news show they had. But still plenty of money for The Travel Show (can't be cheap to make).... and that sort of fluff is better left to commercial channels anyway. -

ok.. childish name calling aside... Where was it reported that Tik was speeding ? where is there any witness statement that he was speeding ? Who are these people at the scene you are talking off ???... .... his was on a bridge... do you think there were 'other people' standing around on the bridge and witnessed this incident ??? ... On the scene at the time of the event were 5 people (if I'm not mistaken) - 3 with the motorcycle (1 dead, 1 in hospital serious injured and another) - 2 in the car (Tik and a female who appears to be with him) Tik admitted to speeding in the Thai media ? really - share that link, I have not seen any Thai media where he admits to breaking the speed limit on that road. -
