Hotels with pool bars that are actually open
VT2 and VT1 have a restaurant of sorts away from the pool but by the pool, if that makes sense, but definitely nothing of the swim up variety. Nova Platinum (ex bowling alley in South Pattaya) theoretically has one but it was never being used when I looked. I thought maybe the Dusit or Royal Cliff might ? -

Will marriage O visa holders need to use the Thai e-Visa website?
For now, the ETA proposal has been delayed. It was originally proposed only for those coming in "Visa Exempt," but ... "... suspended on October 16 by the Cabinet at least until April 2025." https://www.pattayamail.com/latestnews/news/the-real-deal-about-the-end-of-one-of-thailands-unpopular-address-forms-476283 The article goes on to say, however ... At some stage in 2025 the ETA system will be extended to include all foreigners entering Thailand, including all non-immigrant visa holders such as retirees. They do not say where they obtained that information, and I hope it is unfounded, but this is the way the wind is blowing. I learned of this article here: -

3BB Fibernet installation in a condo
Well that is my hope as well that it will be done via 3BB. But the lady on the call centre was not helpful so far. First she said that they will not find the technician for me and I just cannot have the internet even though it is available in the building. When I complained and I said I am willing to pay for the installation she said she will check and call me again. -

Bangkok Governor Supports Congestion Charge to Curb Traffic
I'm obviously not asking the right questions, as the few times I've travelled from Phrom Phong (Green) to Phra Ram 9 (Blue) I've been made to buy 2 different tickets/tokens at 2 different Ticket Offices to make the journey, same on the way back. Plus there's an open air walk along the street whilst making the connection (Asok / Sukhumvit). Once when I travelled to Icon Siam that was 2 changes and 3 different ticket/tokens, again repeated on the return leg. Hardly integrated. -

Dropping tax rates 2% for someone making $12,000, and 2% for a billionaire are not the same. -

Trump kicks off a Pennsylvania rally by talking about Arnold Palmer’s genitalia
Trump is an entertainer. Sometimes he likes to work a little 'blue', no big deal. All the faux outrage just emphasized the fact that he is winning, and his opponents can't handle it.- 1

Visit Thailand for just under 90 days with Thai wife. Visa advice please.
Totally cut and pasted, but you seem to have missed my point; "I think you can use local income to satisfy the 40k per month too, it does not have to come from overseas, (same as if you get an in-country Non-O based on marriage, that money does not have to have come from overseas)." I don't see any errors in that statement. -

3BB Fibernet installation in a condo
Well I agree with you but you are not answering my questions. Shouldn't the installation be free up to some length? Even the lady on the call centre mentioned this. I am not on the 20th floor so that is completely irrelevant. And second most important point was who should find the technician which can install the cable to my room. Should it be 3BB and is it 3BB technician or a subcontractor? If it is a subcontractor and there will be a problem with the internet they might blame the 3rd party technician. -
