Bill Gates Privately Says He Has Backed Harris With $50 Million Donation
As long as they didn't let him near the football, an IMO senile old man would likely do less damage than either Trump or Harris. -

Foreigner Wrecks Chiang Mai Stall After Smoking Ban Warning
I, for one, care. If I want to state facts (e.g. laundered foreign money had / has a detrimental effect on real estate prices in Vancouver) I should be permitted to say so without being crucified and slandered as a "bigot" by the woke, uber PC brigade. I don't care if the laundered money came from Mars. Agree with you on the other point - they are weak indeed - but I'm not convinced they're headed for cultural oblivion. -

New SMS Rule: Annual Registration for Link-Senders to Combat Scams
So what happens if a Thai person wants to register for a legitimate foreign service that includes texted links, like ordering a product from a foreign company and the tracking is sent to them? These foreign companies are not going to go through the process of registering in another country just to be able to send links in their texts. On top of that, a both iMessage and RCS are encrypted, which means the telephone company would have no idea what is in the messages to begin with. The only thing this could stop is regular sms (not rcs or imessage) from one Thai number to another Thai number. I'd wager that's only a small fraction of the problem. -

Now that we are older: Does Eric Burdon resonate with us even more forcefully?
One should always try to go further, when one is young. And, if a physicist, then never stop going further, even when old. If not a physicist, then one's bones just get worn down.... So then, might as well stop. Did Einstein actually work at his desk in Princeton until his dying day? He tried to go further, some say, every day of his life. Ken Kesey was no Einstein... IMHO Although, I am sure Ken thought he was. Yet, he never got half as far as Einstein. Instead...turns out..... Kesey was just another NUTCASE..... He actually never did get that far..... Except.... In his own mind. Timothy Leery Timothy Leery Let's all go further While we can -

A Call for António Guterres’ Resignation: No Longer a Laughing Matter
Global peace but only as long as it conforms to American domination. IMO time is up for the west's domination of the world. The rest of the world has had enough of the west's wars and destruction and their support of israel in the M E. The rest of the world has had enough of America consuming more than many other countries put together, and trying to make them give up their dreams of a better life. It may have eluded Hamish de Bretton-Gordon that Guterres is representing ALL the UN members, and not just the ones acceptable to him. -

MRT 20-baht bonanza: MRT hits the jackpot for commuters
This is all about headlines and not about helping people. If it was about helping people it would be implemented on the lines that people actually use, like the blue line, and the BTS as well. -
