Big Joke’s on her: Police wife caught in affair and burglary storm

The wife of former Deputy Commissioner of the Royal Thai Police, Surachate “Big Joke” Hakparn, has surrendered to Phra Kanong Police Station following allegations of an affair and the theft of 5.7 million baht.

These allegations, concerning an extramarital affair and the theft of valuables worth approximately 5.7 million baht, surfaced after a complaint was filed with the police on October 20 by a 50 year old woman named Thanattha. Thanattha accused the wife of the former police chief of being involved.

Thanattha claimed that the woman had an affair with her police officer husband and used a spare key to enter her condominium in Soi Sukhumvit 101 in Bangkok, where she allegedly stole valuables, including 600,000 baht in cash and 5.1 million baht in gold.

The name of the accused woman remained undisclosed until today, October, 24 when Big Joke‘s wife, Sirinatda “Kubkip” Hakparn, also known as Madam Kubkip, turned herself into the police.

Thanattha further claimed that Sirinatda left five bags of cash in her condominium but she did not check the amount of money in them. She took the bags to the police station for further examination. Officers intend to conduct a DNA test on the bags to determine the true owner of the cash.

Big Joke himself did not accompany his wife to the police station today and has not yet spoken to the media regarding the matter. According to Matichon, Sirinatda gave a brief statement to reporters, denying the allegations.

“It’s not true. I will assign my lawyer to handle anything that damages my reputation.”

It is also unclear whether Sirinatda will be granted bail.

Big Joke and the police officers working closely with him were previously suspended from their positions following alleged involvement in an online gambling ring. The case remains under investigation, and there have been no recent developments.

How many wives does Big Joke have?

Is this the wife that we're told is extremely wealthy?

My wife just reading on FB.  But she " not believe". Because she is rich hiso.   So she stole 600k vask and lots of gold but stashed many bags of cash in the victims  affair partners house?   Madam looks like a bit to much surgery and Botox.

I was once a fan of BJ but my opinion changed when he was in his underwear.

Ooh!! Just like the Vardy v Rooney Wagatha Christie saga in the UK!!

I thought this woman was extremely wealthy and connected in her own rights. This doesn't make sense.

Been mentioned before, he's privately very wealthy, the family wealth goes back decades.

Why, was his underwear: dirty, too loose, too tight, wrong brand, wrong colour?

The loot was not stolen from a police officer.  And B5m is not such a large amount for a 50-year old to have accumulated.

The money was not stolen from Surachate, it was Surachate's wife who, allegedly, nicked the goods from another woman's condo.

Wrong again Lou, the woman was married to a police officer, and big jokes wife entered their home.

No, I am not wrong, the OP reported that the loot was stolen from the condo of the wife of a police officer...

"...used a spare key to enter her condominium".

Of course it doesn't,, nor does all about big joke himself. There's stuff going on behind the scenes that folks here are unaware of and wouldn't understand anyway since they aren't Thai.

As we have learned in America, unscrupulous government folks can use the law for personal and political advantage.

Nothing should surprise us about big joke or his family, there's no question that when high-ranking officers bill the nation of huge amounts of money (which is likely in the case with this guy) that their families are complicit and perhaps involved. If not in the crimes themselves certainly in the sharing of the fortunes. So nothing should be surprising about this crime family, he was incredibly good at PR, he fooled a lot of people for a very long time, but some of us never bought into the nonsense.

A crime fighter at the top of the RTP pyramid?

I don't think so.

Get the brown envelopes out Madam Kupkip haha

Not bad for a policeman's salary... must be better than advertised.

Hard to say whether she was cheating with her husband. Seems the criminal enterprise has fallen apart. Having a spare key to her condo could simply be a case of the syndicate working together hiding stuff in safe houses. This condo is probably one of those.

  • Popular Post

So Big Joke's "rich wife" was supposedly having an affair with another policeman.

That policeman's wife alleges Big Joke's wife entered her condo using a "spare key" (obtained from who ?) and stole money and gold.

And then she alleges that Big Joke's wife "left bags of money" in the condo ?

Sounds like the plot to a bad soap opera (perhaps the inspiration for the story ?) or a poorly scripted attempt to defame someone.

The game is afoot. Let’s see how this plays out. One thing is for sure, nothing is as it appears and what is truth or fiction is anyone’s guess.

Some of you appear to think that wealth makes a person honest.

In fact, the wealthier the background, the more they need to steal to maintain the lifestyle they are accustomed to.

Big jokes wife left bags of cash in the condo.

The policman's wife took the bags of money uncounted to the polce station

Jokes wife later entered the condo with her own key and stole jewellery and 5 million cash.

Money from online gambling and a jealous

wife.

Can't wait for the movie.

Always wondered why these excessively rich folk ( high ranking civil servants, politicians etc) crave even more, but have come to the conclusion that they seem to need it to "protect" themselves from those that would potentially expose them!
