Teenager Found Decapitated in Mysterious Drowning Case in Mukdahan Pond

A jeweller, driven by rage, stabbed his wife five times following a heated argument in Nonthaburi. The incident occurred on October 24, when Mr. Kareem, aged 65, a gem cutter and trader, fatally attacked his 54 year old wife, Ms. Renu, in their apartment. He later surrendered to the authorities at the scene.

 

According to Lt. Col. Khotsasit Kotano, Deputy Investigator of Rattanathibet Police Station, officers were alerted to the murder at a seven-story apartment in Soi Ngamwongwan 31, Bangkhen, Nonthaburi. At the scene, the victim was found lying near the bedroom door in their fifth-floor apartment, with five stab wounds in her chest. A 10 inch kitchen knife was discovered near her body, with two additional knives placed by the apartment's entrance.

 

Kareem, who was waiting for police on the ground floor, confessed to the crime. He admitted that ongoing conflicts between him and his wife had escalated over time. He accused her of cheating him out of money from their gem business and suspected her of having an affair with another man. On the day of the murder, the couple had a heated argument in front of their youngest daughter, during which Renu mocked Kareem, calling him "stupid" for staying with her. After their daughter left the apartment, Kareem, filled with resentment, retrieved the knife he had prepared earlier and stabbed his wife multiple times.

 

The couple had been living together for 40 years but had not legally registered their marriage. Both were involved in the gem cutting business, with Kareem accusing his wife of withholding profits after selling the gems they polished. The conflict had previously escalated when Kareem attempted to attack Renu with a screwdriver, but she had begged for her life at that time.

 

Police have charged Kareem with premeditated murder. He has been taken into custody for further questioning and will be prosecuted according to the law.

It´s really sad. So many times this happens. 54 years of age, and still don´t know how to deal with an argument and have a serious inability to control rage. So many emotionally handicapped people around.
