Hi, I've just arrived back to Thailand from Laos. I stayed in the same house where I stayed when I'd got a work permit for so many years. Now, I'm a having a Non-o.  Do I need to do a TM 30 notification?   thanks

I use the Pattaya office and have an agent do what needs to be done as i just do not want to be bothered. I have never had a TM30 my agent said avoid if you can as once you are in that system you are always in it. I travel as well many times a year out of Thailand always returning to my same address. Still never bothered with one of these TM30s

I have the money in the bank but I  do not want to have to go to Immigration ever if i can help it and so far in over 20 years have only been there 3 times. Those that are sure to post how stupid I am for spending money for an agent when i have proper funds Ok then I am stupid but not having to go down there is 100% worth it for me.

Load of rubbish. Jomtien Immigration always require a TM30 each and every time you enter the country, even if staying at the exact same location with the exact same visa. If not, when you go for an extension of stay, expect a nice fine by them.

They may well require it but as I said I use an agent and I've never had to get it I even asked my agent about it she told me not to worry about it I have no reason to lie about it I don't have anybody to impress I'm just telling you my experience

They require a lot of things, unless you use an agent.  It is a carrot/stick system.
