Thwe link to the page from Pa website showing clearly you must select if you want to register to vote. Dmv doesn't do it for you and if you select yes the info goes to the voter registration office to process

You really don't know do you?  You have never been to the Pennsylvania DMV have you?   You just want to insult someone don't you?

 

They ask you if you want to register to vote!  If you say yes, they ask you what party you want to be registered with!   There is no requirement to confirm anything through the voter registrars office!

 

When I was first registered to vote, under the motor voter law, I had to go to Chambersburg, PA DMV as it was open on Saturday.

I stand by what I wrote. Dmv does not register you, they gather the info and its sent to the voter registration office to process. Its not rocket science and a pic of the PA DMV page showing what you select was already posted to you earlier in this thread.

As I understand it, you check yes that you want to be registered, they notify voter registration, and voter registration registers you. 

 

It's the same if you check that you want to be an organ donor, they don't register you as an organ doner either, they notify the organ doner department, and they register you.
