Hi folks, against my instruction a Singapore shipper used FedEx to send a package here and now see the below. Anyone ran into this and know how to clear? Package is in Samut Prakarn.

That simple? I'll give it a go, thanks.

Maybe it is already too late but be warned about sending a copy of your passport.
To be on the safe side, I would write ‘Copy’ on it in red.

If you told them not to use Fedex and they ignored you, I would ask for a full refund.

Companies that can't follow basic instructions shouldn't be in business.

They are all the same, it happened to me last week when delivering a parcel from China.
Flash Express was the one to deliver it but it was dismissed with the excuse that they couldn't find the address, someone had to pick it up themselves in Tha Yang.
By the way, my Thai girlfriend's phone number was on the parcel!

Sin$260. I received a mail from them checking if a low value had been declared. Sent them proof of payment for Sin$260 and nothing back yet. I have yet to forward passport copy.

Stay tuned folks.

Used FedEx to ship golf clubs from the U.S.  A third-party customs clearing house contacted me for copy of passport and picture of new clubs.  FedEx delivery collected customs fee upon delivery.  No problem.

"Could you possibly provide more order detail?"  Yes I could and did then "Customs requested change duty rate 30%". Delightful and needless to say no link/instruction given how to pay. Oh well. Maybe tomorrow.

I had the same issue, i had a car part sent from Japan and received the same message. After contacting Fedex, i explained that i am not an importer and it is just a small car part for private use, i wash told i had 2 options, One to use an independent customs clearance company or get Fedex do the required import process at an additional cost, i had to send ,my passport copy  and a signed form that Fedex sent to me to. in addition to the passport copy i needed to send the invoice or proof of purchase price, which i sent to them.

I them got another email with the total cost including the import tax, in total it cost me another 1200 tbh to receive the package with my part. and today almost a week to receive the item once it arrived into Thailand

Just seem to be a money grab by Fedex
