And kill the Thai/world economy!

The world economy, before the Wright Brothers, was quite good.

I am only asking for a quality of life we once enjoyed before the advent of air travel.

This does not mean that we cannot have cruise ships and ocean liners, replacing air travel, of course.

DId you not notice all the people dying

from covid ?

I  have seen people die of covid ,family

and at work in hospitals.

These doctors and nurses worked heroically without decent PPE.

masks and vaccines save lives.

“As of December 4, the Panzi health zone in Kwango Province in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) has recorded 394 cases and 30 deaths (Case Fatality Rate: 7 per cent) from a so far undiagnosed illness,” it said in a statement.
as published in the telegraph.

Why not close all airports forever and ground all aircraft?

Ocean travel is much more environmentally damaging than air travel.

Ocean liners generally twice as polluting for a given distance.

So yeah, just imagine 100 million tourists arriving by boat........

I can’t wait to see the cute nurses doing their choreographed TikTok dances when the next pandemic comes around.

Overworked?  LOL.  Nonsense.

I dated a Covid ward nurse during covid.  All she did was chat with me all day long and send selfies.

And of course you have links which prove your post?

What is the passenger per mile comparison between an aircraft with 200/300 passengers and a cruise liner with 5,000 passengers over the same distance etc?

I don't know the answer, just asking!

it's sad you dont realize healthy people died.  I lost two very good friends. Both were in good shape, not that old, the one went to the gym 3 times a week, neither were over weight.  One was 64 and the other was 56, both had wives, children, and grand kids.

I keep hearing from people who tell me about their healthy acquaintances who died of Covid.  But when pressed to show me the proof of their health status they become defensive.

I suspect they were healthy just like this kid…

Cut out the carbs.  It was a game changer for me.  Went from 6’3” 225 to 195 on keto and then to 180 on Carnivore.  Blood pressure went from 130/90 to 110/70. All bloodwork perfect.  Limitless energy.  No more aches and pains.

We Americans have been killing ourselves slowly due to our love affair with food.

Good questions, as we are not allowed to work with tourism. I would be fine without tourists in Thailand.

Latest info still suggesting that this may be nothing more than flu, malaria, measles (or even a combination of different diseases) in mostly younger children, with the fatality rate exacerbated by the malnutrition that most of the severe cases were suffering from.

Another report suggesting this is probably a known, but as yet undiagnosed disease (or combination of diseases).

What is the illness spreading in Congo?

  Quote

Health officials say the disease is most likely to be an already-known illness rather than a brand new one.

Health experts believe the causes of the outbreak are unknown because of limited testing capabilities in the region.
