SIM Lock Code - 10 digits - for DTAC SIM card

Hi, I have an Alcatel Wi-Fi puck type router that I brought from another country.  I thought it would be nice to try to use it to have my own connection.  I took my DTAC SIM which I'm not using and put it in there.  I'm able to connect to the WiFi connection but there is no internet.  When I log in to the Alcatel router software, it says that the SIM is locked and it say it wants a 10 digit SIM lock code.  I tried the 10 digit phone number but that didn't work.  The PUK is 8 digits.

Anyone have any idea what this is?  Maybe the Alcatel puck is only configured to work in a foreign country where they have these 10 lock codes?

You need an Unlock Code for the Alcatel device. Either from the network that distributed it or a third party website/calculator.

What's the model number?

Great, thank you!  Let me check the model number and I will get back to you.  It looks similar to the one in the Ebay link that you sent but maybe a little earlier.

OK, it looks like the model number is MW70VK.

Are you saying that the mobile network that distributed it is the one that put a lock on it?  When I log in to the Alcatel router software it shows the logo of the mobile phone company.

Yes.

They might give you an unlock code if you had a contract with them previously. Otherwise, you'll have to do it through a third party.

You can compare prices from the unlocking services on the web. Here's one such example: https://techunlockhub.com/unlocking-alcatel-4g-lte-mifi-y855-y855v-y850-y850v-y850o-y853-y858-y800z-y854-y853vb-y854vb-ee60vb-ee40vb-y800i-y800ma-mw40nf-mw40v-y901-mw40vd-mw42l-ee70-mw42-hh130-r217-r21/

There are many.
