kalasiner Posted December 11 Posted December 11 My local immigration office mistakenly gave me permission to stay until 26 Feb 2026, instead of 26 Feb 2025. Lucky me ? Normally I would shortly stock up my bank account and in mid Feb 2025 make the yearly extension, based on marriage to my Thai wife. Should I now proceed normally or try to take advantage of their mistake ?. I guess their mistake will come to light at the 90 day report at the the end of Feb 2025. Thank you.
Popular Post terryq Posted December 11 Popular Post Posted December 11 Get it corrected. If you do not and you stay after 25 Feb 2025 you will be considered to be on overstay irrespective as to what the 'permission to stay' date says. Their mistake but would be your consequences. 1 6

Similar situations comes up occasionally. It's up to pp holder to check correct stamp/dates have been entered into pp. You need attend immigration where the stamp was issued and have it corrected 1
