How Do I Change My Norton AV Phone Number As I have A Damaged Phone SIM Card.

Her in doors being in a hurry threw a basket load of laundry into our washing machine. My phone survived the ordeal but my SIM card didn't. So how can I update my phone number for Norton Anti Virus when I can't receive any security keys or pin numbers.

Why do you need Norton Anti-Virus?

Take your passport with you to a DTAC service centre in order to get your number back. They should give you a new SIM with the same number and hopefully restore your remaining package.

Firstly my phone SIM card is with AIS and my wifi SIM card is with DTAC. Unbeknown to me my phone SIM card is in my wife's name. She's gone up north to take care of her mother whose on borrowed time. I went to the AIS shop in Pattaya Central and the guy said that she must come in person to fix this problem because the SIM card is damaged. I want to delete Norton AV and get a refund but I'm running out of time. So it appears that I'll lose my subscription fee, I can't even re install it because I can't get the security code. What gets me is the SIM card is in her name and goes to my email address.

Firstly the guy at AIS told me that my original SIM card is damaged and it can't be fixed until the name registered on that SIM card goes to the AIS office to get if fixed or replaced. Right now I can't receive any One Time Password codes on my phone. I can't do anything including re install or get a refund in the Norton website as I can't receive OTP messages. Several other antivirus programs send their OTP messages by email.

Further more I needed to change my phone number because I couldn't wait for my wife to come back as I really don't know how long she'll be away.

It sounds like you think that you have set up Two Factor Authentication on a Norton account. If you have, then you might have noticed that when you set it up, they gave you TEN single-use securities codes for you to use in scenarios just like this, when you don't have access to your mobile phone number, mobile authenticator application or a USB Security key. So just use one of those ten codes if you saved them somewhere.

Other than that, why not call them if you don't know what you are doing?
