No power, no computers?
One small one is more than enough. Something like this: https://shopee.co.th/เครื่องปั่นไฟเบนซิน-3500W-4-จังหวะ-เสียงเบาในการใช้งานในบ้านขนาดเล็ก-วิธีสตาร์ท-2-รูปแบบ-i.390562777.14813603082 This is just the first link which I found. 3500W is more than enough, I didn't look at the other spec. Obviously, the word "server" can be anything from small to big. What I see in offices will likely use less than 500W. So a generator like in the link should be able to supply at least 6 "servers". -

Who is "doomed"?
That is interesting. Hopefully a rich wealthy royalist family with benefits then? Not a poor rice farmer or bar lady son -

Thai gov. to tax (remitted) income from abroad for tax residents starting 2024 - Part II
Useful pdf-file, and pretty clear, as far as it goes, Thank-You for posting it. But it still doesn't say whether the TRD will still want a form filing, when one doesn't actually owe them any tax, as I calculate that I myself do not, after allowances & zero-tax band are applied. I'd also read it to say, they do not expect to tax income earned overseas, which isn't transferred into Thailand ... FWIW. -

Daniel Penny Joins Trump and Vance as Guest of Honor at Army-Navy Game
Why? I don't. Never have. I stand at attention, sure. But the only time I put my hand over my heart is when I'm saying the Pledge of Allegiance. -

X is the King of the Media World.
I take it with a grain of salt, but surprised how accurate it is vs totally corrupt MSM. Can't really say I even read a lot of RT, and only if a headline interests me. I prefer to think for myself, not that I even care about USA, TH or world news & events. Just stay tuned in to things that actually may affect my life, which is very little on the news. Nothing I need to know from the crap they all push, and it's basically 'marketing' now. Every news-blip, op-ed is linked to product promotion related to what ever is being discussed. If not pushing a product, pushing an agenda to divide people to control them. Suggest y'all stopped watching, unplug for a month, if you can, then tune back in, with an open mind, you might see it completely different. Ignore it all, live life, enjoy living life, and be HAPPY. Some of y'all, really need to unplug and get a hobby, a partner, a life. Not directed at anyone, unless of course applicable. If that offends you ... nuff said -

Thailand Nears 33 Million Tourist Arrivals in 2024 Boost
FILE photo courtesy; TTG Asia Thailand is basking in the glow of a tourism resurgence, with nearly 33 million foreign visitors having crossed its borders by 8th December 2024. This remarkable influx, welcomed by locals and businesses alike, has injected an impressive 1.5 trillion Thai Baht into the economy, underscoring the country's enduring allure as a travel destination. The country has long been a magnet for global travellers, and this year the top contributors include China, with 6.3 million tourists, followed by Malaysia (4.6 million), India (1.9 million), South Korea (1.7 million), and Russia (1.5 million). The diversity of visitors reflects Thailand's wide-ranging appeal, from its bustling cities to serene beaches, historic landmarks, and vibrant markets. In the remaining few weeks of December, Thailand anticipates an influx of long-haul visitors, particularly from European nations. This expectation is buoyed by strategic tourism campaigns and the implementation of 'Ease of Travelling' measures. These initiatives aim to make the journey to Thailand smoother and more enticing, addressing travel concerns and enhancing the overall visitor experience. A notable development in boosting connectivity is the inauguration of direct flights by Italian airline Neos between Ostrava, a key industrial hub in the Czech Republic, and the holiday haven of Phuket. This new route is part of a broader strategy to attract around 60,000 Czech travellers to Thailand by 2025, augmenting the country's dynamic tourism landscape. The significant increase in inbound seat capacity by 10% in the latter half of 2024 has also been pivotal. This boost has helped facilitate the seamless arrival of tourists, reflecting the successful interplay of government initiatives and airline cooperation. Jirayu Houngsub, spokesman for the Prime Minister's Office, expressed optimism about the continued growth in tourist numbers. The measures undertaken have evidently paid dividends, as Thailand positions itself not just as a tourist haven but as a resilient player in the global tourism market. Thailand's tourism sector is a cornerstone of its economic framework, contributing significantly to the GDP and providing a livelihood for millions. As 2024 draws to a close, the trajectory seems promising for a robust 2025, with expectations riding high on a continued upward trend. As the nation gears up for the year's end, Thailand is poised to capture the imaginations—and bookings—of even more travellers worldwide, reported Bangkok Post. -- 2024-12-16
