Two Chinese Nationals Arrested for Extortion Through Dating App

Police have arrested two Chinese men for allegedly extorting money from a fellow Chinese national after luring him through a dating app. The suspects, identified as Mr. Sun Jian, 31, and Mr. Sun Hao, 23, were detained at a residence on Pracha Uthit Soi 24 in Huai Khwang District, Bangkok.

The attackers, whose identities and numbers remain unknown, shot and killed Mr. Mato Per Ming, 50, an officer with the Village Protection Volunteer Corps (Chor Kor Tor) in Banang Sata, Yala, while he was riding his motorcycle along a village road near his base in Moo 2, Bajoh Subdistrict.
