Biden Honors Key Figures from Jan. 6 Committee with Presidential Citizens Medal
Remember how the Barr/Durham investigation of the Justice dept turned out. When most right wingers were predicting the downfall of the Deep State? Despite Barr's and Durham's extraordinary efforts to find corrupt motives in the investigation of Donald Trump at the justice dept., they failed miserably. -

Tramadol
Tramadol binds to opioid receptors in the brain, producing feelings of pain relief and sometimes mild euphoria. This effect can lead to psychological dependence. While it is considered to have a lower potential for abuse compared to some stronger opioids (like oxycodone), it still carries a risk of dependence, addiction, and misuse, especially if taken for extended periods, in higher doses than prescribed. I understand your point that some people may have greater propensity towards addiction - however, in this case, the drug itself contributes towards that as its not just habitually addictive. After having a three injuries (and surgeries) in the past couple of years, I've ended up with somewhat of a stockpile of Tramadol which I recently binned. -

Frustrated with Thai Immigration - 90 day online report frustrations
Yes, I think that's what is actually required. But it's such a redundant exercise. I mean if one has a one-year Retirement or marriage extension and a one year lease (or longer) with a Thai landlord, and the dates of both beginning and ending of the lease are indicated on the TM30, it shouldn't matter how many times we aren't home. What if I went to Chiang Mai or Issan for a few nights. Supposedly, since I'm not in the rented accommodation, that should be documented too.. Weird system. China-like. -

Foreign men attack Phuket taxi driver over fare dispute - video
25 years ago the flag-fall on the taxi meter was 35 Baht, today it's still 35 Baht, but should be double that. That's where the problem lies. -

Cooking oil
Yeah if you're using one spoon of oil it's unlikely that it makes that much difference, but if you're eating street food it makes a huge difference as they use massive amounts of oil, and if it's being cooked by a Thai, t's almost guaranteed that a lot of oil is being used, so the quality of oil is always relevant. Rice bran oil rules! -
