Now id like to get this out as im dead sure the wild card rounds will be seen as a big win....firstly the Pies are a very well run organisation and very well coached, they keep all teams honest, finishing 9th isnt normal for a team like this, then Demons 15 wins is normally 4th or 5th on the ladder, 7th was not normal, The Blues have shown they are a better team than 10th, but would have missed finals as would have the Pies, The Blues are abnormal that a hard running team did not get going till round 10, The Dogs "got it together very late in the season they would have just scrapped into the 8. Normally 9th is battling for a spot in the 8th but done like a dinner by round 21/22, 10th spot are out of the equation 4 weeks before.. So the AFL got lucky cause in normal years Saints and Gaints of this year are battling for 7th and 8th, Blues made the wildcard round on 50 points 12 wins as the Pies, while some will say 12 wins can get you to 8th this was not a normal year when Demons finished 7th on 15 wins..which shows teams from 3rd to 7th were a lot closer than normal..
