Fed up! Indian Tourists Caught Urinating at Pattaya Beach, Sparking Outrage
It’s the usual thing. Outrage over the symptoms instead of the cause. offer sleezy sex services in tourist areas, get sleezy tourists. Don’t provide public toilets, get people pissing in the streets (or in queues at immigration at swampy). one of these days maybe Thais will be outraged that their police don’t enforce prostitution laws or the government provide public toilets. sort out the causes of bad behavior and maybe it will stop. -

RIP Denis Law
Sad to hear of the passing off Denis the king Law at 84. Long and exciting career, that began in 1956 when, aged just 16, he started a game for Huddersfield under manager Bill Shankly. He retired in 1974. The only player to score 6 goals in an FA Cup game, and finished up on the losing side. A loss to football history. Gave us great memories. RIP feller. -

Benjamin arrives at the logical conclusion regarding taxes
It are not just small steps. They are complicated for the conditions the Thai bureaucracy is in. They can't even link traffic fines to the car registration renewals. Yes of course, they have scare mongered about that in the press as well, but obviously from the reports on this forum, it isn't happening. Lastly, I stay in Thailand 365 days, but haven't remitted any money in the last 3 years, so I don't need to fill a tax return. I can't get an extension because I don't remit any money?? -

Benjamin arrives at the logical conclusion regarding taxes
In the past - this certificate was only enforced for those entering or leaving Thailand. It was not enforced for extensions. After a while, the need for the certificate was dropped and ignored by immigration. Sure, this could happen - and this would be a way to try and enforce taxation , ... but will it happen? Who knows. For certain I don't know (where I am skeptical that it will happen). Agree.
