Well, UK politics has been fairly predictable in recent years.

 

 - Promise - break promise.

 - Get caught - lie/deny.

 - Party X says something entirely sensible - Party Y says it isn't.

 - Issue needs to be resolved?  Bury head in sand or give a contract to a mate.

 - Your mate has got caught with their pants down?  Cover it up (politically not literally 😆).

 - The 'wrong' ethnic minority rapes children with impunity?  Do nothing.

 - Set targets.  Don't meet them.

 - Wife avoiding a lot of tax?  Do nothing about it.

 - Need a new wardrobe?  Get a mate to 'donate' it.
