You don't understand MAGA "Family Values".

Consider the former buyout artist Al "Chainsaw" Dunlap. He bought productive, ongoing concerns and sold them off in parts. That's the Homan Plan. Take whole families and sell them off in parts.

You expect a higher morality to come under the auspices of a serial philanderer and convicted business and charity cheat?

Poor lefty, the big bad orange man hurt you?

Yo, Mr Dealmaker, let's make a deal!

We'll trade you---Central America---a million obese, binge-watching, SSDI-collecting MAGAs for a million of your folks willing to work hard and better their lives. Heck, our new leader knew the value of undocumented workers, as he employed dozens at both his Florida wedding planning facility and his Bedminster Golf Club.

I met a few deportees when I was in Mexico for a few months. They weren't fazed as they knew the game, go over, make a few dollars and return. I was also intrigued to hear that they didn't want to live in the USA full time. The immigration trap meant that once they were in country they had to stay as re-entry was difficult.

All Trump has to do is offer Mexicans six month per year working visas and they will be dancing in the streets. They'll cross over, pick the crops and work the tourist high seasons, then go home till next year.

It's as simple as that. And as for third party nationals crossing the border? The Mexicans will turn against them ( it's already started ). They'll find Mexico to be a hostile place if they interfere with Mexicans ability to earn.

It’s amusing how many boneheaded lefties think some large percentage of illegal aliens are farm workers.

Arrogant and ignorant

A 'Trumps bad' Flip flop, flip flop,  you are justifing illegal workers despite the fact they take jobs from legal workers

...so in YOUR America, there are no Americans working at fast food restaurants? No legal immigrants either? Just poor exploited illegals getting their $15-20 an hour...

You keep repeating the same tired racist trope of illegals doing jobs Americans wont do.  They WILL do them, just not for the depressed wages offered to illegals.  Remove the downward pressure on wages that illegal labour creates, and let the marketplace decide the wages. Combine that with tightening up welfare and benefits and you will see a dramatic difference.

Unemployment is already low in the U.S. and baby boomers are retiring.

Why is the labor force participation rate so low?

18.8% of illegal immigrants and 25% of working age immigrants is low?

It's amusing that boneheaded MAGAs try to hide the fact that 45% of all agricultural workers are undocumented immigrants by distracting attention to another type of statistics.

The problem for employers is how to replace 45% of their workforce If they are expelled. They don't care whether illegal immigrants also work in other sectors.

Arrogant and ignorant. 😆

Now what is for men?

Sure, it went up when women joined the workforce.

Too funnuly

Too funny, I did not make any claim about the peak. You are conducting an imaginary dialogue! 😆

So why did it decrease?

You can blame Merkel for that - her 2015 "welcome to Germany" abomination caused Brexit.

And I'm not getting into a Brexit conversation - I voted Remain, I regret us leaving, but its over.

Farage would be furious with that response........all that effort he put in to ruining the UK and you claim Merkel was the cause....oh dear.

I'll reply for you.

In great part because young people study longer and join the job market later, and because the population is aging so the share of retired people increases. (People also probably retire earlier).

It is apparent if you take the 25-54 age range. The decline is less pronounced and the participation rate remains high in this category.

It is also confirmed by the participation rate among non-disabled.

It is very unlikely that the theoretically available non-participating manpower, that is the 55+ and the disabled will replace illegal immigrants for the hard jobs they currently have. 🙂

Still 5% fewer, yes?

That’s quite a lot.

And what percentage of 15-18 year olds are working? That number has plummeted.

Most every kid I knew had a job at 16 when I was a kid.

60% of kids go to college. That seems crazy to me.
