Honda City Dash Warning Lights

Featured Replies

A friend send me this picture and asked what the lights are. (top left above the 8) I think the lower one is the Eco symbol but i can't make out the one above. Any ideas?

I express my ignorance, apologies.

Have you consulted the Owner's Manual?  If it has been lost, I am sure a Google search will direct you to an online copy.

Good luck.

Warning lights generally follow traffic lights Red - stop its urgent, Anber Caution its an issue and needs looking at soon, Green, advisory

Suggest search on you tube will usually give detailed result.

My Honda is different. Has a button on the dash for Echo mode (which looks like that symbol). You press it to save petrol and changes the performance of the car, air-conditioning included.

It might be something as simple as a seatbelt warning sign, or the handbrake being on. Or something more critical, like no oil.

When all else fails, RTFM.

It means the ashtray is full. :coffee1:

Normally, this is just what is called a....

SYSTEM ON ...notification.

Meaning, if it is on and green then all is well, and no need to worry....IF....that is....

You do not begin to worry about the green light on the dash, for no reason.

However, in some Honda's, it can also mean:

Cleared for Takeoff.

Systems Go.

Personally, I would not buy a car in Thailand.

Too many questions.
