January 29, 20251 yr It wouldn't normally be as anticipated as this one on Saturday 1st. But this match is right up there; and could be special. Pool are riding high, and do not drop points that often. They have scored 7 more goals than the next club, and are averaging a shade under 2.5 a game. It takes a goal or two, a load of self belief and a big slice of luck to stop them giving the others a whacking. So into battle come the South Coast shockers! The cherries are at home. They have scored 9 in their last couple of games, against very good opposition. (Toon 1 - Cherries 4 -- Cherries 5 - Forest 0). They are scoring goals. They are on fire. They have belief. They are at home. And they are not keen on letting the opposition score either. Only the top two have plucked the ball out of their pwn net less times. Or getting beaten. Again; only the top two have lost less matches. I'd like to be there. My forecast; 3-2 to the home team. Cherries for Europe. Yea!
January 30, 20251 yr I'm sure there will be goals, but I'm going Cherries 1 Liverpool 3. Another bigun: Arsenal 2 Man City 2.

But, I'm sticking to my guns forecasting a Cherries win. The Gunners vs City game is easier to predict. 0-2 to City. That striker they got from City - what's his name now? Oh yes Jesus. Has been a flop. They need a goalscorer for the rest of the season.
January 31, 20251 yr True, they need a proper no 9. Can't see them getting one until the summer. Advantage Liverpool.

Big game for sure. I reckon they will Gary. Have City turned the corner? Their bad spell behind them! Even, as I predict, Pool will lose down the South Coast tomorrow, I think they will win the League. I think for the sake of EPL football, The Cherries v Pool is a wonderful thing waiting to happen. If little old Bournemouth can topple the mighty Merseasiders; and storm on, it will give the other 'also-rans' a real glimpse of what can happen. Forest and Cherries for top 4. I, and most other neutrals, would love to see it. This season has a different look to it. Seagulls, Toon, Forest and Cherries right up there. OK! So the top 2 will probably be Pool and City, but the 'big 6' mold is well broken.

February 1, 20251 yr Author Indeed. Things have changed. A look at the Championship will see; Sunderland, Blackburn, PNE, Burnley, WBA, Peacocks, Blades, Boro. All clubs that one would normally associate with the top flight. For me Bournemouth (not the FC Poppies) are the real inspiration of the season. The club was on it's knees a few years back; going into administration, for the second time, back in 2008. They have a top crowd of less than 12k, and yet they are showing a enthusiasm and direct play theme, that is to be welcomed. Some top notch games in the EPL this w/e. This is what the scores will be: 1-1 - Forest v Seagulls 3-2 - Cherries v Pool 2-1 - Toffeez v Foxes 2-1 - Tractors v Saints 1-1 - Maggies v Cottagers 0-2 - Wolves v Villa 2-1 - Beez v Spurs 1-2 - United v Palace 0-2 -Gunners v City 4-0 - Blues v Irons

Form team Cherries at home to league leaders. Bigger, IMO, than the Forest v Pool match that finished 1-1. Come on you south Coast Stonkers. Let them have it where it hurts; no points on the journey back up north.

Couldn't be more wrong if I'd tried. Cherries were well beaten on all accounts. Let's hope they don't lose sleep, or heart, over this result. After all, they were playing perhaps the best the in Europe. Cottagers winning at Toon? Forrest hitting 7. Wow! They don't call it the best league in the world for nowt. I like the English lower divisions too though. Another team hitting 7 was the Peacocks. My team, Orient, went down at home. Well played Garry Gunner.
February 3, 20251 yr The Cherries actually didn't deserve to lose that game. As for struggling, just look at the team closest to my hometown ... Gillingham.
March 8, 20251 yr Interesting early game in the PL this weekend. Forest vs Man City. If City win then expect them to go on another good end of season run & finish at least third. Who knows, they could still catch The Gunners. If Forest were to win however, that really could cement CL football for them next season.

Like to see Seagulls take 4th spot. cherries are not having a good time. So can take them out of the picture. There is Villa and Chelsea of course. Villa have definitely joined the 'big boys club'. Toon are so unpredictable. So my fantasy top 4. Pool Gunners Forest Seagulls Ya never know!
May 3, 20251 yr Just found out that TrueVisions won't be showing EPL football for the next few seasons. JAS has won the rights to broadcast. That means you may be able to catch a live game on free Thai TV channel Mono29. Plus streaming with Monomax. Interesting to see how this pans out for next season.
May 17, 20251 yr The EPL battle for Champions League football is going down to the wire. Which 5 of 7 will it be? Liverpool, Arsenal, Newcastle, Man City, Chelsea, Villa, Forest. Plus one of Man Utd or Spurs despite finishing probably 16th/17th in prem.
May 23, 20251 yr Well it's here. The final matches of the season. I'll be watching Forest vs Chelsea. Interesting battle for Champions League football next season. ⚽️ 👍
