Over 180 days in TH and filing Thai tax return

Struggeling with documents required for filing tax return.

Thai tax office want in Thai or Enlish.

My documents all in Dutch.

Dutch tax office not supplies in English.

Who has experience with this topic and how/where to translate from Dutch into English and how/where to legalise?

Perhaps go back and speak to another staff member, or try a different TRD office.  Maybe someone will tell you that you do not need to file.  You can relax, safe with that know;edge that you don't have to file.

If you really have to file (that's a big if, there are many threads about it)

- do you really need the Dutch documents ? Maybe they are not necessary at all, especially if you do e-filing.

- some TRD staff have said a Google translation is acceptable

- if you really need a certified translation:

Find a translator accepted by your embassy (they should have a list of translators). Have him do the translation, then get the translated document stamped by your embassy (for a fee, the translator will get the embassy stamp for you).

Then make an online-appointment at the consular service at Chaeng Wattana (there are threads how to do this) and get your last stamp there (for an express fee of about 800B, they offer same-day service)
