Alcohol sales during election today

This made me confused..

"Pattaya city area are exempt from the ban due to their status as special administrative zones with their own elections. However, areas in Bang Lamung adjacent to Pattaya will be subject to the alcohol ban, as they are part of Chon Buri province."

 

So where can I get a drink tonight, been working all week.

Live on Sai3 that's part of pattaya city but also Bang Lamung.

Everything is closed on Sai3

I was 9-10km out of central Pattaya and was most certainly inconvenienced. They allowed me a beer at 5.40pm, but I had to pay for it immediately , and no further sales.
