Air Fryers: Your New Kitchen Companion ?
So you want a meal of roast chicken, potatoes and say roasted veggies, with some sauce. You have to cook each item individually in the air fryer, chips taking about 20 minutes, the chicken 30 and veggies say 10. You then need to keep that lot warm in the proper oven, or let 'em go cold and microwave them (chips? ugggh) And still use a pan on the hob to do your gravy. I watched a programme on UK Ch4 where they got three cooks, one a novice, one in between and an expert, who all said this same thing. Only two of them produced better chips. Stir fried some meal....useless. I shall stick with what me Mum used and taught me. -

Interesting. I never personally had any problems with Manila when sending email. Under your circumstances I'd suggest sending one more email, perhaps even an EMS letter with return receipt requested, keep a paper trail, and if you don't get a response within the timeframe listed on the Manila SSA website ([email protected]) then contact your Congressional representative in the US. Congressional reps have an ability to cut through bureaucratic red-tape. -

Foreign man attacks Phuket woman for honking while crossing road

The victim, whose identity remains undisclosed, shared details of the assault with the Phuket Times ภูเก็ตไทม์ today, February 4. The incident occurred at 9.10pm on Saturday, February 1. The page reported… “This foreigner in Phuket was too easily provoked by a car horn. A Thai woman seeks justice after honking at the foreigner as a warning, only to be physically assaulted.” In the comments section, the page shared a picture of the injured woman, whose left arm was in a sling. It was reported that the incident took place at the Slaughterhouse Intersection in the Mueang Phuket district. According to the woman, she saw a foreign man crossing the road while she was approaching on her motorcycle. To warn him of the potential danger of reckless crossing, she honked her horn, causing him to stop ahead of her motorcycle. The woman said the foreigner stared at her, so she honked again to make him move out of the road. In a fit of rage, the foreigner then rushed at her and assaulted her. She stated that the foreign man walked away, leaving her injured on the road. Determined not to let him go, she attempted to chase after him on her motorcycle but he continued walking away. He eventually entered a dark alley, which made her feel unsafe, so she gave up on the chase. The victim said she went to Vachira Phuket Hospital to obtain a medical certificate before filing a complaint with the police. She also attempted to obtain CCTV footage of the incident but police informed her that the security cameras at the scene were broken. She insisted that she had a short video and a photograph clearly showing the identity of the foreign suspect. However, the case made no progress, so she shared it with the news agency. Some Thai netizens expressed the view that the foreign man was absolutely in the wrong for physically assaulting the woman. US tariffs could flood Thai market with cheap Chinese goods
I would rather buy Thai made stuff rather than Chinese, but I cannot always find what I am looking for in Thai made stuff. I cannot remember the last time I bought anything from the USA, so Trump's tariffs have no effect on me.
