invest just a few million in some public urinals and garbage bins.

If placed closely together, then they should be clearly marked, which is which...

In several languages.

Too few lavatories in Thai airports?

So foreign tourists are Forced to Pee in the wrong places?

I have reasonably well travelled by air.

However, I have never felt any shortage of toilets at any airports.

Have never seen any Heavily Qued Up W.C. either.

How many W.C. they got, the bad mannered often does  it.

About 5 years ago I transited through the middle east, Qatar I think.  After leaving the aircraft I used one of two urinals in the toilet at a waiting room where the gates were.

Less than 10 minutes later I walked by the toilet and saw a long line of men waiting to get in the same toilet.  I started counting to see how many were in line, I stopped counting at 50.

And, what would happen if they did this in India?

In fact, let's send them to India, posthaste.

Vow, you are totally missing the point comparing Singapore with Thailand, not seeing the real issue. Please get a reality check up!

I llke the comment about dogs would use that place to pee also. It says a lot about Thai mentality. Noone would bat an eye if it was a dog peeing there or even another Thai. Yet, see a foreigner doing it and the netizens are outraged and the police are hunting you down to make you pay. The cities want their millions of tourists yet do everything to make it impossible even so much as making it very difficult to empty your bowels.

These photos of foreigners peeing, The men go to extreme lengths to make sure their privates are not shown. They do not seem like they are doing it to disrespect Thailand or the laws which means their really is nowhere to use a toilet or they are unable to find it if there is one. What would you do if you had to go so badly that even peeing behind a car or building was the better option?

Or perhaps Thailand should offer disposable pee bags to carry with you should you feel the need to go and can not find a toilet? Oh wait a minute. Thailand also has a lack of public trash bins as well and someone would need to carry that pee bag with them until they got home or the netizens would be complaining this also.

The usual crap, lets blame the bad foreigners, elevating themselves, trying hard not to address the root of the problem, but admitting to their own failure is totally out of question. Maybe next century, but only maybe.

Hi, thank you for sharing your experience here.

It was not very nice is it?

Qatar is known for its richness.

But not enough toilet at their capital airport?

I felt they better invest more to the essential facility like lavatory.

As the airport in the capital is just like any countries' face.

How about this: Instead of demanding more loos perhaps they should demand less beer. You're welcome.

Missing the point, because it is a fact that you can hardly find any decent public toilets in and around any city in Thailand, and Thais themselves are setting the example by peeing wherever they please, but that seems to be well accepted. Picking and focusing  on foreigners,  ignoring the actual facts and issues, instead of looking at themselves, but self criticism seems none existent, since criticism is alien and not tolerated.
