Processing Time Thai Embassy In Korea

Featured Replies

The web site for the Thai Embassy in Korea says it takes 3 working days to process a tourist visa application. Most embassies say this but in my experience in other countries you can drop off your required paperwork on the morning of one day and pick it up the late morning or afternoon of the next (working days of course).

Anyone have experience applying for a visa in Korea that can comment on the actual processing time?

Depaending on the season, it is summer vacation period now, the Consulate usaully gets tourist visas turned around a day. It may take longer during summer vacation. Non-O type visas take 3 days if a paperwork is in order. Also, non Korean applicants can take longer aslo.

I was there 2 months ago and it took a full 3 business days. They were very firm about it - I'd try but I wouldn't plan on it being sooner.
