Widespread rain forecast for Cambodia over next few days

The Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology has issued a notification on weather conditions in Cambodia from the 11th of March to 13th of March.

 

 

The northeast monsoon regime with low pressure covers the South China Sea, the Lower Mekong River Basin and the Kingdom of Cambodia.

This situation will cause: From March 11 to 13, 2025:

 

 

1- Plains:
– Average minimum temperature of 23°C and average maximum temperature of 35°C. Winds from the northeast and east with an average speed of 2 meters per second. Battambang, Pursat, Kampong Chhnang, Kampong Thom, Siem Reap, Kampong Cham, Tboung Khmum, Prey Veng, Svay Rieng, Takeo, Kandal and Phnom Penh provinces may experience rain covering 15% of the area.

2- Plains:
– Average minimum temperature of 24°C and average maximum temperature of 36°C. Winds from the northeast and east with an average speed of 3 meters per second. Kampong Speu, Pailin, Kratie and Mondulkiri provinces may experience rainfall covering 10% of the area.

3- Coastal areas:
Average minimum temperature 23°C and average maximum temperature 35°C. Winds blowing from the northeast and southeast with an average speed of 2 meters per second. Koh Kong, Sihanoukville, Kampot, Kep and Bokor mountain ranges may experience rainfall covering 19% of the area.
Sea waves have an average minimum height of 0.25 meters and an average maximum height of 0.75 meters. Based on the above information, the public is advised to be aware of this as information.
