British Embassy Faces Rising Consular Case Demands in Thailand
One swallow does not a summer make. Consular Services were the backbone of UK embassies but the UK government never made consular assistance a legal right, it is purely discretionary, and is now using that to run down the services available. By promoting the myth that the embassy was never there to help will deminish any incentive or campaign to to put that right. Introducing a legal right to consular assistance would not only benefit British nationals who find themselves in dire circumstances while traveling abroad. It would benefit the British State by offering a structured approach for protection of its nationals, and would ensure that British values are respected, even beyond our borders. Trans Tesla Vandal Arrested for Molotov Cocktail Attacks Amid Rising Tensions
Musk is a total social misfit, and is not wearing his wealth, nor his power lightly. Musk appears to have extremist tendencies. I am hoping he goes on one of his Mars missions, but we all know he does not have nearly enough courage for something like that. I have respect for his achievements, but zero respect for the small man. He's a completely ridiculous man, the more wealthy he's become the more obnoxious he's become, the more arrogant he's become, the more self-righteous and the more insufferable. Trump made a tremendous mistake by giving him more power than he already had, and time will reveal what a tragic decision that was. Boycott Tesla, don't buy anything that he is associated with, knock him off his pedestal, bring him back down to earth, try to knock some sense into his absolutely foolish head, and take some pride in doing the right thing and helping America. Musk is despised like never before, and aligning himself with Trump will likely be the stupidest thing he's ever done from a business point of view. -

The EU Is Authoritarian and Hates Democracy
"Russia Russia Russia!": the rallying cry of authoritarians everywhere. This has been going on in the US since 2016. But its latest incarnation, in Europe, is even more virulent, having *actually* been used to subvert at least one election. (This is where the usual suspects, devoid of anything of substance to refute this point, make some tangentially-related comment about Trump, or MAGAt, or Putin, or... whatever.) -
