Hi, I've joined a UK based WhatsApp group on my iPhone with a UK SIM. I need to join the group again with another number, (not using a Thai SIM) still keeping my membership of the group with the UK SIM number. Basically, two memberships of the same WhatsApp group with different numbers. How to do this in a cost effective manner?

Challenge for any of you techies out there!

Thanks for any advice

Buy a cheapish dual SIM phone  stick your old SIM and a new one in it ?

Throw the Iphone away 😋

Not sure why anyone gave a thumbs up to the previous suggestion. Any iPhone from 10 onwards, supports eSIM. So likely they already have a dual SIM phone. Plus any iPhone from 13 onwards supports two active SIM at the same time.

So keep the iPhone and look into eSIM.

That's simple - iPhone envy.

@JakeC is absolutely right - if you have a relatively recent iPhone model, hardware-wise you're all set. All you need is to add the additional SIM.
