Sensible people drive their cars instead of ride their bikes during songkran.

In saying that I have had a fantastic ride out each morning so far on this holiday, But we go out early...Leave home at day break and back by 8.30am.

In Hua Hin  Songkran lasts only 1 day, the water fight doesn't start, in ernest until after lunch... Very civilised... 555

I wish i had a job like yours.Does your boss know you spend all day on Aseanow?

No, he don´t need to know that, as it´s not true. You can also understand that, as I answer you 8h later. Not made a comment since then. The best thing you could do is stop make assumptions, face reality and not post any more flaming and untrue things in this forum.

See what I mean about spending too much time on this forum, you start rambling on, but I suppose Mrs Gottfrid (if there actually is one) is happy that your not giving her a load of earache, just giving to the forum members 😀.

Just like I posted to another member. It´s gone 8h since your post, and I reply now. does that ring any bell? Does that make you think you made a mistake posting above. I guess not, because the arrogance and the we are the best is just to big in you. Read the news and see how you behave.

Yeah, that is dangerous. However, after my experience of more than 26 years in Thailand, You just have to wave with your hand and almost all people respect and do not throw water on you.

Over the 13 years I've been here, I've found that NOT to be the case!

BS! It just depends on your authority and how you show them.

Expand

You aren't an authority here, and most locals throw water at anyone who passes. Consideration isn't a thought here in anything, which includes the Songkran as well as the driving habits. You have to go outside more as I've only been here 7 years and waving them off rarely works, especially if you have children on a scooter with you. They do not care period.

That goes for you also, as assumptions are one of your fortes.

You know nothing about me except that which I've chosen to share. I've travelled all round the North East. And helped to carry the large round rockets at Kutwa  in Kalasin. I'm 72 now and dieing from terminal lung cancer. No. I don't like water thrown at me. Help yourself if that makes you feel better about yourself.  I can help you by drenching you as you are eating your lunch..555

Serves the mogrel idiot right. The bashing by the bystanders was appropriate he's lucky  that someone in the crowd that was run over didn't pull out a gun or knife and really teach him a lesson.I wonder what country he was from.
