Good morning everyone; I have been following the forum forever and I would like to take this opportunity to thank Ubon Joe wherever he is. In the past he helped me a lot in the process of moving to Thailand and when I heard of his death, I felt a huge void and sorrow. But at the same time I thank all those who keep this Forum alive with their important knowledge and advice. I hope to be more present on the Forum and be able to be useful in some way. Thanks again for welcoming me

Welcome, where are you about in the country?

Joe was an absolute gentleman and his knowledge of visas was incredible, no-one has stepped up to take his place.

Joe is the man, and will be remembered

Yes. I will never forget how much time he spent and answer all my questions. He was really great.

If not a surfside bungalow, it's almost a priority for a hillside view from the bungalow / room.  So much so, that I stopped traveling with a drone.   We rarely stay in urban areas, as we can always drive to food, or last resort, or 1st choice, depending how far out we are, fine dining from 7-11, and why we travel with a microwave :cheesy:

We can even plug it into the car, if needed.   Traveling with Sniffy the Wonder Dog, restricts us from National Parks, but the view is usually as nice or better,  nearby without any distractions.
