Wife is from Japan, married 33 years. We split our time between Thailand and Japan, probably go full time in Thailand in 2 or 3 years.

What?

Cockerell = a fighting chicken.  A male hen. Cock fighting is very popular in Thailand. It's even on TV.

Not living here yet, plan to move later this year. My wife is Filipino and we first came here on holiday 30 odd years ago. She felt at the time she got many sneering looks which she put down to Thai women thinking she was a  Thai hooker with a faring.

Now she’s 60, people don’t think she’s a hooker and  she hasn’t experienced the same looks. People still often mistake her for Thai and talk to her in Thai, but not a problem.

Kyoto?

No, the wilds of Aichi.  Father in law was a Toyota exec before he retired.

Hardly the wilds.

Although, yes Kyoto is a place that some consider to be the cultural center of Japan, with a few good universities.

My last partner was an expensive sex doll from China. Does that count?

(Unfortunately we are no longer together.  I decapitated her some years ago during Covid and disposed of her head in a trash can in Turkey...)

Disgusting behaviour ,but no surprise

I remember a few years ago going through Melbourne Airport in Australia to see a man arrested for having a schoolgirl sex doll in his luggage

Disgusting behaviour??

- She never complained

- She never got glued to her mobile phone

- She never asked for $$ for her family/sick buffalo etc

- She was quite good at anal or oral

- She never had bad times of the month

- She never aged

Seems pretty good to me!!!  (I took her on Lao Airlines domestic flight once and no problems....)
