King Cobra Startles Surat Thani School Community

Rescue teams in Don Sak, Surat Thani, were called to capture a large king cobra that appeared near a community school on 21 April. The incident caused a commotion among locals, but the snake was safely caught and later released into a forest area. Videos of the event shared online have drawn attention to the bravery of responders and the importance of human-wildlife coexistence.

That was the final straw for me, when daughter came home and said ... "Daddy, had snake at school today"

 

Really, what kind ...

... "the kind that stands up"

WTF

 

As if going through the monthly sick cycle wasn't enough.  You're sick, stay home till better.   Then back to school with the 'sick' kids, rinse & repeat.

 

This 1st year kindergarten (3 yrs pre school), and she didn't go back to school, and to private school, not village school,  till 2 semester of 2nd grade.

 

Nothing but sing songs & nap anyway.   Don't need to wake up to a snake laying next to her.
