Dear Folks,

When truly in love, most people love to touch when they walk.

In fact, when in love, how can any couple help from touching….

When they walk?

Normally, you might wish to touch when you walk.

However, in Thailand, touching while walking is not acceptable.

We know why, of course.

And so, the question is:

Do you abide by local social norms?

And, do you avoid touching when you walk?

(Personally speaking….Yes.  I do avoid touching when I walk. I try to fit in here, and I accept social norms.)

Or, as the old song goes:

Would you love to touch Roxanne when you walk?

Assuming there actually WERE a Roxanne in Thailand?

Maybe it is OK in some tourist areas to touch when walking.

But, I think it might NOT be OK in other areas of Thailand.

Sometimes, I feel like squeezing, pinching, even goosing,...and not just touching.

But, I never do.

Not even playfully.

However…

Do you?

Best regards,

Gamma

Note: Roxanne will ALWAYS be my friend….forever.....

Me and my girlfriend do not walk around the streets romantically.

Out and about, when crossing the road I hold her hand, or around her waist moving her forward.

When we're together we are usually sat in the car or restaurant eating.

Out shopping she is most times holding my hand dragging me around from shop to shop, same at Thepprasit market, I'm getting dragged around.

I remember Loy Krathong, we went down to Ban Amphur, on the beach, 1000's of people, she held my hand so she wouldn't lose me in the crowd.
