Amazon is selling both 8646 and 8647 stickers. 

 

If these numbers do indeed constitute a threat, then Amazon, the manufacturers, and purchasers would all have to be interviewed by the Secret Service and possibly prosecuted. Otherwise going after Comey for tweeting a photo of shells on a beach is simply harassment of a perceived political enemy.

Sadly the current administration could have prevented all this kerfuffle if they just recognized special knowledge and expertise among government appointees.

Although Kristi (secretary Barbie) Noem is an expert on killing dogs, she was not the person to consult in this case.

 

If anyone in the current administration knows the meaning of "86ed" it is the illustrious Secretary of Defense, Pete Hegseth. HIs drinking exploits are well-documented and no doubt he is aware of the meaning of the term.

Went to your reference, in the "Usage" section there are 3 paragraphs and 12 lines of examples and definitions.

The first two paragraphs list the most common usages, like :

Third paragraph of 3, and 11th and 12th lines out of 12 the meaning of killing is given.

Cherry picking is ignoring the most common meanings and latching on to the one that allows you to do your axe-grinding.

 

Additionally, all the references to this meaning reference underworld and Vegas mafia slang.

So are you suggesting that the shells Comey saw were placed by the notorious Vegas Mafioso Tony "The Shell Writer" Mancuso, famous for communicating mob hits by arranging shells on a beach?
